GEM Award Nominations – DUE Feb 15!

Dear Idaho Job’s Daughters and Adult Volunteers,

At Grand Session 2024, we will be presenting the Idaho Gem Awards to deserving adult volunteers in our wonderful state. The time has come to prepare your nominations for those that you feel deserve consideration for this honor.

Below is a link to the official rules and regulations pertaining to the Idaho Gem Award. Please review them for full details on the specific criteria to be used, the nomination procedure, etc.

In general:

1. A nominee must not be eligible for the Degree of Royal Purple.

2. A nominee must be living, be thirty (30) years of age or older, and have been a Job’s Daughter volunteer for three (3) years or more.

3. A nominee must have delivered outstanding service above and beyond that normally expected of a volunteer.

The nomination form which must be used is enclosed with this letter. Feel free to use additional sheets where needed to provide the information. In addition, each nomination must be supported with at least four (4) letters of recommendation. Please see the Rules and Regulations for details on the letters and other specific criteria.

Please remember that ALL nominations must be in the hands of the chairman, Mary Jane Muncy, by FEBRUARY 15, 2024 in order to be considered. Late or incomplete nominations will not be considered.
