Idaho Job’s Daughters Scholarships

Grand Guardian Council Education Award and the Debbie and Katie Lindsey Memorial Scholarship

  1. Please check to make certain that the funds from each Honored Queens’ Project have been sent to the Grand Secretary. If the Grand Secretary does not receive the money, the members of your Bethel will be ineligible for an Award and the number of Awards available will be reduced.
  2. Educational Awards are in the amount of $500 each. The number of Awards granted can change each year depending on the total amount available from the Grand Guardian Council Education Awards Fund.
  3. Those eligible for the Awards are Job’s Daughters in good standing who are high school seniors or already attending college and Majority Members who are under 30 years of age.
  4. Those applying for the Debbie and Kati Lindsey Memorial Scholarship must be second-year college students or above.
  5. Awards are given for continuing education in either a vocational institution or an academic school, such as a two-year or four-year college or university. It is possible to receive a second award if you have already received one.
  6. Complete application packages must be postmarked no later than June 1st, 2024 and sent to the address at the bottom of this letter or submitted electronically to by midnight June 1st, 2024.
  7. Checks will be issued by the Grand Secretary to the award winners when proof of enrollment is received.
  8. See the attached bylaws from our White Book for formal details not outlined in this document.

For an application package to be complete, it must contain the following items: Idaho Jobs Daughters Education Award Application, the Bethel Guardian Council Form, two personal letters of reference in sealed envelopes, your educational transcripts, and lastly a 300-word essay.
